HOUR HOUR, 2018

In a complimentary bathrobe, perched high in a DTLA hotel room, Caff Adeus captures the muted monotony and milling about far below. Shadows created by sunlight breaking through the skyscrapers and the smoggy afternoon sky, playing peek-a-boo between the buildings, creates cinematic scenes of solitude, in which the artist finds familiarity. The composition in this somewhat accidental series displays scenes of isolated individuals in order to communicate the loneliness Adeus was feeling the moment he captured the photographs.
